“So… this is Down Home Farm.
It’s a private prairie property just outside Winnipeg, near Starbuck, Manitoba… where we offer unique stays and photography captures.
It’s land we farm… return to… and rely on.
120 acres of cropland, woodland, and the La Salle River running along it.
We get here by a quiet dirt road… tucked away and out of view.
Back here in the trees… that’s Sweet Caroline.
Our reimagined 1978 Airstream…
settled in for shelter, shade, and view.
When you’re here… it’s just you… whether you’re staying or coming out for a photo session… the whole place is intentionally yours.
Stays are shaped for couples, close friends… or time on your own… where you can settle in and slow down… and your dog is always welcome too.
And then there are captures… for engagements, families, portraits… and elopements… where moments unfold… without interruption.
This place has been part of our story for many years… and what it’s given us… is what led us to share it with you.
